Watch live as Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa delivered an historic address at the UN General Assembly 2025 – The first Syrian president to address UN since 1967.
Al Sharaa hit out at Israel over its strikes against Syria, and called for dialogue.
"Israeli policies contradict the international supporting position for Syria which threatens new crises and struggles in our region," he said.
"In the face of this aggression, Syria is committed to dialogue."
Al Sharaa also called on the international community to "stand beside us" in the face of Israeli attacks.
