Tax rises won’t affect workers ‘payslips’, says minister

When people look at payslips they will not see higher taxes. That’s the pledge from Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson today – as she was pressed to explain the Government’s "tough choices" ahead of next week’s Budget. (Subscribe: https://bit.ly/C4_News_Subscribe)

Some spending plans have already been announced, including one point four billion pounds to rebuild England’s crumbling schools, and more funding for childcare.
