Teens give up their phones for a week

Could you give up your phone for a week? At a school in Canterbury there’s a social experiment running to see just how teenagers respond to the issues their phones can cause – by taking them away for seven days.

Here’s what happened when the teenagers got them back. The play was devised by Isabelle Defaut, Portrait Theatre and the social experiment was carried out by the University of Kent at Simon Langton school in Canterbury.
