Tensions and some violence as 100,000 attend London far right rally

They wanted it to be the biggest demonstration London has ever seen. It wasn’t.

But the so-called ‘Unite the Kingdom’ demo was a major event. Police estimated that more than a 100,000 protesters marched to a central London rally.

It was organised by far-right campaigner Stephen Yaxley Lennon – aka Tommy Robinson and there were plenty of tributes to the murdered right-wing American influencer Charlie Kirk.
