The High Court has ruled that the Government’s decision to ban the Palestine Action group under the Terrorism Act was unlawful and disproportionate.
Dame Victoria Sharp said the organisation promoted its cause through criminality – but only a "very small number" of its actions amounted to terrorist acts.
The group’s co-founder Huda Ammori described it as a "monumental victory" – although the group will remain proscribed to give the Home Office time to submit an appeal.
