Thames Water wins £3bn legal battle securing bailout

Thames Water wins a High Court appeal which will see them receive a £3bn loan to restructure their business and to avoid going into administration.

The water company will now be under temporary government control and can use the loan to stay afloat while it tries to raise more private investment.
