A federal grand jury has indicted former US national security adviser John Bolton over his handling of classified material. Bolton served during Donald Trump’s first presidential term and is charged with retaining national defense information. This is the third time in recent weeks that the US Justice Department has filed criminal charges against a former member of Trump’s administration turned critic.
