The clock counts down as families await the release of the remaining hostages I ITV News

As the Middle East holds its breath, many dare to hope an end to the Israel-Gaza war might be in sight.

Within hours, all 20 living hostages should be back in Israel. Nearly two thousand Palestinian prisoners and detainees will be released in return.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, "Tomorrow is the beginning of a new path".

But how will that "new path" work?
