In North Devon, controversial plans to run electrical cables from an offshore wind farm to Saunton Sands have been approved despite opposition.
Opposition groups say they aren’t against renewable energy, but are objecting against damage to the environment as cables are installed to bring energy from offshore wind farms to the mainland.
