'The Hardest Geezer' is back to run the length of New Zealand

Russ Cook, also known as the ‘Hardest Geezer’, is back to take on his next challenge.

Mr Cook will head to New Zealand and take on the Te Araroa 3,000km trail in March.

The challenge covers running the length of New Zealand and will see him take on 60 ultramarathons through mountains and forests.

The 27-year-old, from Worthing, West Sussex, previously ran the length of Africa, where he and his team were robbed at gunpoint during the challenge.
