‘The ones making the laws are breaking the laws’ | Home Office accused of ignoring planning laws

The Home Office has been instructed to stop conversion of RAF Scampton into a facility that will house 2,000 migrants.

Local authorities said they were breaking planning permission laws and ordered them to stop, but the Home Office is continuing work.

Sarah Carter, of the Save Our Scampton campaign, is camped outside the base in protest.
