The shooter who killed two students in a Minneapolis church was "obsessed" with the thought of killing defenseless children, according to investigators.
Two pupils were killed and a further 18 people were injured when a person with a gun fired a rifle through the windows of a Catholic school church in Minnesota on Wednesday.
The children who died were aged eight and ten, police said, and the group was celebrating Mass during the first week of term.
Dozens more young people from Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis were inside.
