In the Syrian city of Sweida, horror unfolds as a fragile ceasefire struggles to hold amid the worst outbreak of violence since the fall of the country’s dictator.

The city is now a battleground, torn apart by tribal and political warfare, revenge killings, and foreign intervention, with civilians trapped in the crossfire.

Over 90 bodies lie unburied behind the main hospital, where doctors work by generator power and in appalling conditions to treat the wounded, many of them children and pregnant women.
