The human rights group said Israel sought to deliberately destroy Palestinians by launching deadly attacks, demolishing vital infrastructure and preventing the delivery of food, medicine and other aid.
Israel calls Amnesty’s genocide allegations “fabricated” and accuses Hamas of committing genocide during its initial attack. It says its actions comply with international law and is contesting genocide and war crimes charges at international courts.
