‘This is a miserable Eid’: Palestinians in Gaza prepare for Muslim holy day amid fighting

Palestinians in Gaza prepared for Eid al-Adha on Saturday, a Muslim holy festival marking the end of the Hajj season, as fighting between Israel and Palestinian armed groups approached its ninth month. Ismail Allian, whose home in the Nuseirat refugee camp was destroyed, said: ‘What kind of Eid tomorrow will be al-Adha Eid? What kind of Eid we will face?
