In Lansing, Michigan, the airwaves are heating up with election battles as the temperatures fall this autumn.
The incumbent republican Tom Barrett for the state’s seventh district is facing his democratic rival Will Lawrence in one of the country’s critical races. Barrett is one of a small but growing number of Republicans daring to defy the President on some issues.
Barrett recently broke ranks with President Trump, voting against continuing the war in Iran.
But it’s also a proposal for a 400 acre hyper scale data centre here – powering Artificial intelligence – which is turning voters away from President Trump.
