England head coach Thomas Tuchel held a news conference after naming his first squad announcement since being appointed as successor to Gareth Southgate, which included recalling Jordan Henderson and Marcus Rashford.
Tuchel says recalling Henderson was a “pretty easy” choice, as he “embodies everything we want from this team”.
As for Rashford, Tuchel says he made a “huge impact at Aston Villa” and is bringing him onto the team to “push him to stay on that level and not fall back in old routines”.
