Thousands flee as Thailand and Cambodia clash

Thailand says around 130,000 people have fled their homes to escape fighting along the Cambodian border, with clashes breaking out in several areas, some involving artillery and heavy weapons.

Thailand’s acting prime minister warned it could "escalate into a state of war". The violence erupted yesterday after weeks of tension over a long running border dispute.
