Thousands forced to flee north Gaza as Israeli bombardment continues

Thousands have been forced to flee Beit Lahiya in the north of the Gaza strip, due to an Israeli military operation.

Palestinians believe Israel is trying to create a buffer zone by bombarding northern Gaza to force evacuations.

The Israeli army denies this and says it’s trying to prevent Hamas militants from regrouping.
