Police say the surviving suspect, Naveed Akram, has been charged with 59 offences including 15 counts of murder and committing a terrorist act; his father and alleged co-attacker, Sajid Akram, was killed in a gunfight with police.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says the government will consider stronger laws and powers to eradicate antisemitism and extremist ideology, as investigations continue.
