Thousands of Brits see their travel plans disrupted by the war in Iran

Research given to ITV News suggests that less than 1% of passengers caught up in the Middle East travel chaos, caused by the Iran war, are entitled to compensation.

This is because the conflict is deemed "extraordinary circumstances" excluding many airlines from the usual obligations to refund or assist passengers.
