Thousands of Serbians mark anniversary of deadly station collapse

Tens of thousands have gathered in Novi Sad, Serbia, to commemorate the one-year anniversary of a railway station roof collapse that killed 16 people on 1 November 2024.
A 16-minute silence was held at 11:52, the exact time of the disaster, to mourn the victims. The incident inspired a wave of large scale protests against political corruption across the country
