Three police officers killed by gunman in Pennsylvania

Three police officers have been shot dead and two wounded in Pennsylvania, after a confrontation with a gunman, who was then killed by police.

The violence broke out when officers followed up a domestic-related investigation.

The two injured officers are in a critical but stable condition.
