The former Radio 1 DJ Tim Westwood has been granted conditional bail after he appeared in court accused of rape and sexual assault.

The 68-year-old faces charges in connection with alleged offences against seven women dating back to the 1980s.
Three assaults allegedly took place at the BBC studios.
He was not required to enter pleas to any of the charges.
Westwood has previously said he “strongly denies all allegations of inappropriate behaviour”.
