The US Coast Guard says it is bringing in new ships and underwater vessels to search for a submersible that vanished while bringing five people down to the wreck of the Titanic.

The Coast Guard held a news conference on Wednesday to provide updates on its search efforts.
Underwater noises detected by a surveillance aircraft gave hope but the coast guard did not speculate on what rescuers believed the noises could be.
The vessel is estimated to have as little as a day’s worth of oxygen left if it is still functioning.
