Tom Tugendhat knocked out of Tory leadership race

The chair of the 1922 Committee of backbench Conservatives, Bob Blackman, has announced the latest results of the Tory leadership race, which has left Tom Tugendhat out of the running after only winning 20 votes. James Cleverly came out on top with 39 votes, followed by Robert Jenrick with 31 and Kemi Badenoch with 30. The three remaining candidates will face off in the fourth and final round of MP voting before the final two are put to a ballot of Tory members
