Tommy Robinson released from prison

Far-right activist Tommy Robinson is out of prison, after his 18-month sentence was cut short last week.

Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, emerged with a beard and spoke for about twenty minutes in a livestream on X.

In the video he promised to hold a rally in London later in the year.

He was convicted for contempt of court for flouting an order not to repeat false allegations about a teenage Syrian refugee.
