The Shadow Technology Secretary, Julia Lopez, has hit back at the Government for failing to tackle problems ‘in the real world’ as Labour announce plans to tackle online abuse.
Speaking in the House Of Commons, Labour Technology Secretary Liz Kendall announced that creating non-consensual intimate images will become a criminal offence from this week.
Responding to the plans, Ms Lopez said: "While this Government rightly worries about the online sphere, and we support them, there is plenty to be getting on with in the real world."
