Treasury Secretary ‘optimistic’ gas prices will drop by summer’s end

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told reporters that he’s “optimistic” gas prices will hit $3 a gallon by the end of the summer, as war in the Middle East has sent the national average above $4 per gallon.
