Triple killer Valdo Calocane was not forced to take antipsychotic medication

A report has revealed that triple killer Valdo Calocane was not forced to take his anti-psychotic medication in part because he did not like needles.

An independent review into his NHS care said the system had "got it wrong". Calocane – who had paranoid schizophrenia – was sentenced to an indefinite hospital order after killing students Barnaby Webber, Grace O’Malley, both 19 and 65-year-old Ian Coates in Nottingham, in June 2023.
