Trump and Qatar sign $200 billion plane deal

When he visited the Middle East in his first term as US President, Donald Trump accused Qatar of funding terrorism and backed a Saudi-led blockade of the emirate soon after. Now, he’s in its capital, Doha, where he signed the largest order of Boeing planes in the company’s history.

In Saudi Arabia, he met Syria’s President Ahmad Al-Sharaa, a man who once had ties to Al-Qaeda, and praised him as "attractive" and a "tough guy".
