Trump and Ursula Von Der Leyen reach US-EU trade deal

Donald Trump has been meeting the EU commissioner Ursula Von der Leyen at his Turnberry golf resort in Ayrshire this afternoon – with no solution yet to their stand-off over tariffs and trade.

Mr Trump said there were "three to four sticking points" to overcome – while both leaders predicted there was a 50-50 chance of a deal.
