Trump announces trade deal

Donald Trump has announced a new US-UK trade deal in the Oval Office, saying the UK would reduce barriers which he claimed ‘unfairly discriminated against American products’ – from ethanol to agricultural goods.

Keir Starmer has called it ‘a fantastic, historic day’ and that jobs would be boosted on both sides of the Atlantic.
