Trump bans trans athletes from women’s sports

Donald Trump has signed an executive order which aims to ban transgender athletes from taking part in female sports.

The US President had previously signed orders targeting trans people’s participation in the military and gender affirming health care which has been described as ‘catastrophic’ by LGBTQ+ organisations.
