Donald Trump says many of the world’s wars would not have happened if he were president.
Speaking to Time magazine – which has named him their person of the year – the incoming US president was critical of the approach taken by the West, saying some of its actions had made things worse.
This comes as the head of NATO warned the alliance is not prepared for the threats it faces.
