The FBI has raided the home of John Bolton, the former national security adviser to Donald Trump who has since become a staunch critic of the US president.
Mr Bolton has not been detained or apprehended.
He served as Mr Trump’s top security adviser for 17 months during his first term in office, but was forced out of the role in 2019.
