The National Guard will be deployed to Los Angeles after protests in response to immigration raids extended into a second day.
California Governor Gavin Newsom confirmed that the Trump administration is deploying "2,000 soldiers" after local police used tear gas, stun guns, and riot shields to push back immigration protesters on Saturday.
Demonstrations broke out overnight over anti-immigration raids by officials.
