California Governor Gavin Newsom has told ITV News the damage Donald Trump has done to US relations with the rest of the world has been "profound and pronounced".
Speaking to reporters as he attended this week’s United Nations General Assembly in New York, Newsom said he believed it would take "a lot longer than expected" to repair Washington’s standing on the international stage.
