Trump’s press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a post on X that the president’s announcement will be "more incredible deals that will lower prices of drugs and pharmaceuticals."
His announcement comes as the deadline for the US justice department to release the Epstein files approaches (11.59pm US eastern time, 4.59am tomorrow morning in the UK)
