Hegseth and Rubio, as well as Central Intelligence Agency director John Ratcliffe and national security advisor Mike Waltz, were all in a group chat about upcoming military strikes in Yemen to which a journalist for the Atlantic was inadvertently added. Former US secretary of state Hillary Clinton reacted to the leak by saying on X: ‘You have got to be kidding me’
