Trump optimistic about EU trade deal as Meloni visits White House

For President Trump, it’s all about the deal – and he’s confident that he has "something that everybody wants". Today it was Italy’s turn in the Oval Office – prompting talk of a trade agreement with Europe after the 90 day pause comes to an end.

Mr Trump even claimed he would make a "very good deal" with China, although he didn’t offer any evidence of any progress in that particular standoff.
