Pakistan’s prime minister thanked the countries he says have played an important role in securing a ceasefire with India, starting with US president Donald Trump.
"I want to really extend my gratitude and say thank you to President Trump, who has played a very pivotal and paramount role in the ceasefire. And he is really very good to us," Shehbaz Sharif says.
Sharif also offered a "big thanks" for China, who he says has "always been there in the times when Pakistan needed them".
