US President Donald Trump posthumously awards Turning Point USA founder and right-wing commentator Charlie Kirk with the Presidential Medal of Freedom on what would have been his 32nd birthday.
Kirk, a staunch ally of the US president, was shot dead at a university event in Utah at the beginning of September.
Trump hailed Charlie Kirk a "hero" and "martyr" during a memorial service to honour the late conservative activist.
