Russia has agreed not to hit Ukraine’s energy infrastructure following a much-anticipated telephone call between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin.
The agreement was not the full endorsement of the ceasefire deal worked out between the US and Ukraine.
The Russian and US presidents spoke for about an hour and a half as the Trump administration aims to bring about an end to the conflict.
