
Prince William, the Prince of Wales, received an accolade fit for a king today – the keys to Rio de Janeiro, an honour usually reserved for the city’s carnival king.
William is bringing his annual Earthshot Awards to the sprawling Brazilian metropolis, the first time the ceremony for the environmental scheme he founded has been held in South America.
The Royal Family will doubtless be hoping positive vibes from the visit will help "turn the page" on the Andrew saga.
