US President Donald Trump has said "I may do it, I may not do it" when questioned on whether he is considering striking Iran, as he warned he had run out of patience with the leadership in Tehran.
Trump’s comments come as the rhetoric between the US and Iran heated up in recent days, with Tehran saying American involvement would be "a recipe for an all-out war in the region".
Speaking on Tuesday, Trump initially dismissed any notion of the US getting involved with the conflict when pressed by reporters.
But he went on to say: "I may do it, I may not do it. Nobody knows what I want to do. But I can say this: Iran’s got a lot of trouble and wants to negotiate."
