Trump says Israel has agreed to 60-day ceasefire in Gaza

President Trump has called on Hamas to accept the terms of a 60-day ceasefire deal – saying Israel had already agreed to "the necessary conditions to finalise" the truce.

Hamas officials have said they are open to a deal but stopped short of accepting Mr Trump’s proposals. Israel’s foreign minister said an opportunity to free the hostages "should not be missed."
