Trump says Lebanon-Israel ceasefire to include Hezbollah

Donald Trump has confirmed that a 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon starting Thursday would include Iran-backed Hezbollah. The US president said the two countries could meet at the White House over the next week or two, in a deal that it is hoped will bring progress toward a parallel peace agreement between the US and Iran. ‘It’s very exciting. I think we’re going to have a deal where we’re going to have a meeting – first time in 44 years,’ Trump said.
