Donald Trump has agreed a deal with NATO that will see European countries pay to supply Ukraine with US weaponry.
Speaking to reporters with NATO chief Mark Rutte, the US president said talks with Vladimir Putin aimed at bringing an end to the war had stalled, and he would levy "very severe tariffs" on Moscow if the conflict did not finish in 50 days.
Trump said the deal with NATO included sending Ukraine the US-built Patriot missile defence system.
