Trump to chair White House meeting on Gaza war

Israel has continued to bomb Gaza, killing more civilians ahead of a White House meeting chaired by President Trump to discuss the war.

US envoy Steve Witkoff said they expect it to be settled by the end of the year.

Forging ahead with its offensive, Israeli tanks have pushed into a new area of Gaza City, destroying houses.

Medical sources say another ten Palestinians have died of starvation and malnutrition – taking the total to 313.
